Trump's Method of Persuasion
A few years ago president Trump bullied the president of Ukraine, Volodymyr Zelenskyy, in order to attempt to get negative information about president Biden's son, using the threat of preventing arms shipments to Ukraine if president Zelenskyy didn't come up 'with the goods'. This is a good example of Trump's method of 'doing a deal'. He is determined to get what he wants - no matter how.
This could very well explain how he was able to 'persuade' some Republican opponents to reverse either their negative opposition to Trump, or their stated decisions which were contrary to what Trump wanted. It is not difficult to imagine that while he was president Trump collected as much negative information on his collegues and opponents as possible. Take into account that most, if not all, politicians, in every country in the world, are vile corrupt selfish egotistical self-serving criminal scum. This perhaps may also explain why he wanted to retain, and have access to, important and secret government documents - information useful for blackmailing.
One could imagine that when members of the Republican party were 'summoned' to Mar-e-Lago in Florida and confronted with information which could ruin their future prospects in politics, and possibly even end up in prison, these 'opponents' of Trump suddenly changed their minds and agreed to do Trump's bidding. It would certainly be true to form - Trump's modus operandi.
Trump is extremely vengeful and dispicable. He will do anything to get his way. So a sure method of ensuring compliance from those who originally opposed him is to get the dirt on them and blackmail them into subservience.
This is how Trump does business. A true American - succeed at any cost - devoid of any honour whatsoever.
China - the Russian brutal attack on Ukraine
Have they no shame for their stance to this savagery. Have they no ounce of sympathy for the victims of Putin's brutal agression.
It is approximately 85 years ago that the Chinese people of Nanking (Nanjing) were attacked and mercilessly butchered by the Japanese who were monsters of brutality and savagery. Now, presdent Xi Jinping has decided to side with the oppressor, dictator, and outright thug - Putin. This friendship with Putin, despite his brutal attack on the people of Ukraine, has brought immeasurable shame to the memories of those hundreds of thousands of Chinese Nanking victims.
Would Xi Jinping care at all if thousands of Chinese children were kidnapped and indoctrinated with foreigh corrupt values?
Would Xi Jinping care at all if thousands of unarmed Chinese civilians were mercilessly bombed in their own homes.
This is not a struggle about East versus West political systems, or about democracy versus communism. This is about human decency.
Unfortunately Xi Jinping seems to lack any decency whatsoever. Perhaps human indifference to the suffering of others is an integral aspect of the communist personality. This is a terrible reflection on China - and a dismissing of the terror and horror those in Nanjing suffered.
Iran - Reparations from the USA
The USA needs to pay billions of dollars of compensation the the citizens - not the politicians - of Iran.
In the 1950s the CIA and other US Government bodies helped to overthrow the elected secular government of Iran and helped install the Shah of Iran who instigated and encouraged a brutal and savage regime of torture and oppression against the citizens of Iran. His despotic rule benefited the USA - who rarely put up with 'foreign' rulers who do not let the US corporations steal the country's resources.
The USA talks about Democracy. They are very good at talking. They, above all, do not know what real democracy is. Talk is always very very cheap. The talk of the US politicians is extremely cheap. In fact it is worthless. The people of Iran suffered under the Shah's brutal rule, and now suffer under the authoritarian rule of Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamene and his thugs. Someday, the USA must pay those reparations.
USA - Friends with Dictators
President Biden has met with Ferdinand Marcos Jr, the new President of the Philippines. His father, Ferdinand Marcos Sr, was a dictator who declared Martial Law in the Philippines and supervised a brutal and corrupt dictatorship. He was ousted from office in the 1986 with the ‘People Power’ revolution.
The US has always backed dictators who are favourable to the greedy wishes and desires of the US Corporations.
The Philippines president is welcomed by Biden even though he still faces a US court judgement connected with $2bn of plundered wealth during his father’s dictatorship.
No matter what dictators do to 'their own' people, the US president and government will gladly turn a blind eye as long as they benefit from that dictator. Relations actually deepened after Marcos Sr became president in 1965, and continued even as the leader committed widespread human rights abuses - terrorising the people, arresting political opponents etc. A typical friend of the USA.
The USA even helped the dictator to flee the Philippines for Hawaii - a USA haven for a political criminal.
DeSantis - a Vile American Putin
Florida's Governor, Ron DeSantis took over Disney World’s self-governing district to punish Disney for voicing an opinion different to his. This is exactly similar to the behaviour of the Russian dictator Putin who uses the law - twisted by his cohorts - to punish those who oppose his self-indulgant, warped, and savage viewpoint.
Now imagine with what blind ruthlessness DeSantis will abuse his power if he ever gets to be President in the White House. Absolutely no one will be safe. He is just another Putin - just another Trump. He will punish all those who disagree with him sick wished with all the viciousness he can muster. He is a monster in the making. A dictator in waiting. Another Ras Putin.
Desire for Democracy in Syria
Some of the people on Syria tried to have an uprising against President al-Assad's dictatorial rule. Unfortunately many other countries took part in this proxy 'war'. It has turned the country into an abomination of misery for many, and turned many of it's previous citizens into refugees.
But you need to ask yourself this: what kind of democray were they looking for? The answer is ... they didn't know. It was nothing but wishful thinking. Did they want democracy like in Egypt? Tunisia? Lybia? Lebanon? - possibly even bankrupt USA? - or bankrupt EU countries?
Before starting a revolution seeking to destroy the present political force in any nation you need to actually understand what a true democracy would be like. Merely getting rid of a dictator ruler, and oppressive 'political' system will only create a vacuum - usually filled by yet another dictator. You need to understand true democracy before you have a revolution.
Helping Peoples Who Are Oppressed
In 2023 many nations are giving massive military aid to the Ukrainians to help them defend their nation against the brutal aggressor Putin and his vile corrupt associates. This is highly laudable - and should be praised. People who are oppressed should be given help to defend themselves. There should be no limit.
My question is: when are the US, Britain, the EU etc going to start sending arms, tanks and missiles to the Palestinians, so that they can defend themselves from the brutal, savage attacks of the Israeli aggressors and oppressors. Do the Palestinians not have a right to defend themselves? Do they not have a right to exist? Are the Palestinians not as worthy of international help as the people of Ukraine?
Shame, shame, shame.
