A ruin Stone House in the Deserted Village, Dugort

Stone House Ruin In Deserted Village, Dugort, Achill Island.
This stone house is part of the 'deserted village', in Dugort. This was inhabited up to 140 or so years ago when the whole village packed up and left en masse. But there are people on Achill, still living, who, as children, actually stayed up there for awhile, before the houses fell into ruin, where they are un-inhabitable now.
There was great skill in building these stone houses and the chimneys were a work of art.
