Westport House Bridge (pencil)

The Bridge In The Grounds At Westport House, Co Mayo.

Westport House is on the outskirts of the town of Westport, Co Mayo, Ireland. Within the grounds of the estate there is a bridge on the approach to the Grand House. I've painted and sketched a few versions of this scene. This version is a pencil sketch.

If my memory serves me correctly I sketched this while at the bridge. I was staying in Westport for the weekend and I used to be sensible and carry my sketchbook around with me.
