Scripts I Use On My Linux System

Script 01 - Linux to DOS text line ending conversion (and back again!)
Converting text files from Linux to Microsoft DOS (and back) using bash. This changes the code at the end of each text line from Linux type to DOS type. This example also shows how using a bash alias can make using commands very easy. In a way this is only a 'one liner' script but I break it down to show how it all works.

Script 02 - Creating a text and calculation script in bash
I take my temperature every day and wrote a script to automate the calculation from Celcius to Farenheit and then I get the script to write the result to a text file along with the date. This is a good example of how a script can make things so so easy and user friendly.
