The Bridge In The Grounds At Westport House, Co Mayo.
Westport House is on the outskirts of the town of Westport, Co Mayo, Ireland. Within the grounds of the estate there is a bridge on the approach to the Grand House. On the day I visited that House I took a photo of the bridge and found the view interesting.
It has inspired me to paint and sketch a few versions of this scene.
This version is a pen and ink, and watercolour, one.
