A Triangle View of Slievemore Mountain, Achill
When I first went to Achill I took one photograph of the Slievemore from the road between The Valley (townland) and Dugort.
I always liked the lines and view. I did several sketches, paintings, both oil and watercolour.
I decided to experiment with this view as the original photo was very triangular anyway and so I jusy emphasised the triangular nature of the view.
Though it is a small watercolour painting I really like it. Experimenting can be very rewarding.
