Song Information

The words to this song were not inspired by any real life situation at all and are merely some simple words to accompany the music.

The 'song' began as just a bit of guitar picking in 1978 and then I wrote the first 2 verses (just to accompany the melody) and the instrumental break.

When I recorded the song in 2004 I realised it was too short and that the 'sound' needed to be developed further. I added another verse and break. Adding the percussion and the pan pipes to the song changed it beyond recognition. This is one of those songs which 'came out of nowhere' - a little gem.
