A Strange Seascape, With Whale Or Submarine
I must say I really like this simple pen and ink, and watercolour painting. I find everything interesting in this picture. The little island with it's little tree with square leaves. The shaped clouds. The green 'grass' on the left with it's three little points and snail shaped squiggle. The round mounds of the yellow-brown hillside.
But to really make the picture, there is this 'thing' in the middle. The centre object is either a whale or a submarine - I still can't make up my mind. Or perhaps it could be something else altogether! Who knows?!
